How we measure

All measurements are taken with the garment lying flat. When choosing a size, we recommend measuring a similar garment of your own and comparing the measurements to the respective size chart. All measurements are taken in centimeters. For other units or methods, please contact store@julianred.com.

 
How to measure tops  

Outerwear / Shirts / Jersey / Dresses

A. Arm
Arm length is measured from top shoulder seam to end of sleeve hem.

B. Chest
The chest is measured from underarm to underarm, and then doubled.

C. Length
Length is measured from back of collar to bottom hem.

 

Jeans / Trousers

A. Waist
The waistband is measured across at the highest point then doubled.

B. Front Rise
The front rise is measured from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the crotch.

C. Thigh
Thigh width is measured from the bottom of the crotch to outseam at the widest point.

D. Inseam
The inseam measurement is taken from the bottom of the crotch to the bottom hem.

E. Hem
The hem is measured flat across the bottom leg opening, and then doubled.
