How to shop - step by step

In the step by step guide below you can learn how the Julian Red Store shopping procedure works.

Placing an order
  • 1. Choose product: Click on the product you would like to add to your shopping bag.
  • 2. Make attribute choices: Make appropriate attribute choices, like for example size and color and click "add to bag".
  • 3. Add another product: If you wish to add other items before checking out, please repeat point 1-2.
  • 4. Go to checkout: When you wish to proceed to the checkout, click the "checkout" link in the "your shopping" section in the left column.
    • 4.1 View order: In the checkout area you will see the items, their attributes and the quantity of each item you have added to your bag.
    • 4.2 Make changes: In the checkout area, you can change the quantity of the items you have added to your bag by either clicking the +/- or "remove" buttons.
  • 5. Finalize purchase: After reviewing your ordered items you will need to finalize your checkout by following the 5 steps in the right column of the window:
    • 5.1 Step 1 | Sign in: You need to be registered in order to finalize your purchase and you will be asked to either create an account or log on to your existing account.
    • 5.2 Step 2 | Shipping: In this step you specifiy the shipping address to which you would like us to dispatch your ordered items. Your account/billing address will be used by default but you can change to an alternative address by editing the address form.
    • 5.3 Step 3 | Confirmation: In this step you will confirm your order and the shipping address you specified in step 2. When you confirm the order by clicking the "confirm" button, a new window will open on top of the Julian Red Store. This is the Secure Payment window.
    • 5.4 Step 4 | Secure Payment: The payment window is secured according to Visa's "3D Secure" standards and Master Card's "Secure Code" standards. This window is hosted by payment service provider Debitech/Dibs which means that no information regarding your credit card is viewed, processed or stored by Julian Red Store. Debitech/Dibs is the leading payment service provider in Scandinavia, certified by banks and card acquirers to handle secure payment transactions - your guarantee that your payments are in the safest of hands. In the 4th step of the checkout process you will be asked to follow the three steps in the payment window:
      • 5.4.1 Payment Method: Choose payment method: Visa or Mastercard
      • 5.4.2 Validate Payment: Input card details and click "Validate Payment"
      • 5.4.3 Payment Accepted: Notification when the payment has been accepted
    • 5.5 Step 5 | Receipt: After completing your payment in the Secure Payment window, you will be directed back to the Julian Red Store window where you will receive a receipt that your order has been received by the Julian Red Store. This is the final step of the checkout process.
After an order is placed
  • 6. Order Confirmation: After your are finished going through steps 1 to 5 in the "Placing an order - step by step" guide, you will receive an Order confirmation to the email address you specified in the registration of your account. The order confirmation will contain the following information:
    • Order date
    • Order id
    • Order summary
    • Delivery address
    At the time when you recieve this email, your ordered items are being processed and will usually be dispatched within 1-4 days
  • 7. Shipping confirmation: A shipping confirmation will be sent to the email you specified in the registraion of your account as soon as your order has been dispatched. The shipment will contain:
    • Your ordered items
    • Invoice
    The shipping confirmation will contain the following information for Swedish customers:
    • Order date
    • Order id
    • Order summary
    • Delivery address
    • Carrier name
    In Sweden we ship with the domestic postal service Posten. The shipping confirmation will contain the following information for other customers:
    • Order date
    • Order id
    • Order summary
    • Delivery address
    • Carrier name
    • Service
    • Tracking number
    To international customers we ship with UPS using the least expensive service available. You will be able to track your shipment on the UPS website using the tracking number specified in the shipping confirmation email.
  • 8. Collecting your order: Swedish customers: Depending on the volume of the shipment you will receive it directly to your mailbox or you will be asked to pick it up at your local Post office. International customers: When your shipment reaches its destination, your local UPS courier will deliver it to the specified address. UPS requires a signature which means that you will need to be present on the address during their operating hours. Contact your local UPS service if you would like to make special arrangements.
  • 9. Returning/exchanging your order: During 14 days from the delivery of your package you may request to exchange or return your order. You must return the Julian Red products to the Julian Red Store in perfect condition. The Julian Red products should not have been worn, used or washed. Returns will only be accepted if the products are returned with the original packaging fully intact and the original labels still attached to each product. Also, the original invoice that comes with the shipment needs to be enclosed together with the returned products. Returns/Exchanges should be sent to the following address:

    Costs for return: Julian Red Store is not responsible for shipping costs that may incur regarding the return of a product. Refunds for returned products will be made as soon as possible, 30 business days at the latest, after Julian Red Store receives the returned products. The refund will be made to the credit card you used for the order in question. Please note that additional duties, taxes or any additional charge that may incur will not be refunded by Julian Red Store.

    Costs for exchanges: Once you have returned the items, Julian Red Store will not make any additional charges for shipping in the case of an exchange. Please note that additional duties, taxes or any additional charge that may incur will not be refunded by Julian Red Store.

    During sale or promotional offers the policy explained above will apply, except that Julian Red Store will not accept exchanges.
